Spring in Montana.
Bring it.
Cold. Wet. Snow. Sun. Wind. Melty. Muddy. Potholes. Hurt right foot (not about spring in Montana but about my spring in Montana this year.)
Time to focus on those good things:
1. Homemade chicken tenders, sweet potato fries, and easy frozen peas with the fam.
2. A lovely belated birthday lunch with a friend.
3. Laughter circling up the stairs from my kids playing together.
4. My son diving underwater to get a sunk torpedo.
5. Laundry folded.
6. Small patches of green lawn popping up.
7. Planning the garden.
8. Lunch out with my girl.
9. Warm, glowing fires from our fireplace (with popcorn.)
10. A great book to look forward to each day - Olive Kitteridge by Elizabeth Stout. With another great one lined up next - Afterwards by Rachel Seiffert.
It's springtime in Montana. Looks like I will be talking like this till June.
